Jharkhand B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed Entrance Competitive Examination : Education Qualification
- Candidate with at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC PWD & other reserved categories) either Bachelor’s Degree and/or in Master’s Degree in Science/Social in Science/ Humanities/Commerce, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and mathematics with 55% (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC PWD & other reserved categories) marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for consideration in admission to B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed course. For admission in M.Ed the minimum qualification shall be B.Ed/B.P.Ed.
- The Candidate shall have to choose only one subject (within a subject category) which she/he must have studied in the qualifying degree, i.e., Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree for at least 200 marks and obtained at least 50% in this subject. The subject will henceforth be referred to as the teaching subject in the B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed course
- There is no restriction in the passing year to apply in B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed course
- Students in the final year of Bachelor/Master programme shall also be eligible to apply for B.Ed admission; however, their candidature shall be subject to the submission of final result at the time of admission and meeting the marks percentage criteria mentioned in clause
How to Apply : Jharkhand B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed Entrance Competitive Examination
- Application Process: – Applicants can fill the online application form from date-15.02.2025 to date-15.03.2025 by clicking on the Online Form “B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed Combined Entrance Competitive Examination-2025” button on the homepage of the official website of the council http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, following the given guidelines. While applying online, registration has to be done by entering the desired details and your scanned passport size color photograph, in which both ears along with the face should be clearly visible and should not be edited; signature and left hand thumb impression have to be uploaded. - The following certificates have to be scanned and uploaded in PDF format: (1) Matriculation/10th mark sheet and passing certificate (2) Bachelor’s degree mark sheet, (3) Master’s degree mark sheet (in case of applying on the basis of Master’s degree), (4) NCC ‘C’/NSS certificate (if any), (5) Local resident certificate (for local/permanent resident of Jharkhand state) (6) Caste certificate (in case of availing reservation), (7) Disability certificate (for handicapped candidates). - After paying the prescribed amount of examination fee, take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future use

Jharkhand B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed Entrance Competitive Examination : Selection Process
- Merit list:- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Joint Entrance Competitive Examination. In case the marks obtained by two or more candidates are equal, the merit order will be determined
- This will be done as follows:
(a) NCC ‘C’/ NSS certificate
(b) Preference will be given to the candidate with earlier date of birth.
